The black squid spaghetti is a standout favorite among guests—a harmonious marriage of tender squid and perfectly cooked pasta, infused with the briny richness of the sea. Customers consistently praise the delicate fry of their seafood selection, describing it as "clean and just nice," capturing that ideal balance of crispness without overwhelming oiliness. The seafood dishes here are prepared with meticulous attention to freshness and texture, making each mouthful a vibrant exploration of Italian coastal gastronomy.

The menu also features classic pasta and pizza options, all crafted from time-honored recipes and fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Diners rave about the enticing tiramisu served at the end of their meals, a decadent finale that embodies the warm hospitality and culinary finesse of the restaurant.

For those seeking a true taste of Venice’s culinary heritage with an emphasis on seafood and traditional Italian fare, Ristorante - Pizzeria da Roberto is a destination not to be missed.

The black squid spaghetti is special and their squid and fried squid are so tender and fresh. Like they way they fried the seafood, it's clean and just nice.

A True Taste of Italy in the Heart of Venice – Da Roberto Ristorante - Pizzeria da Roberto is a charming and authentic Italian gem nestled in the heart of Venice. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The menu offers a wide selection of classic Italian dishes, from freshly made pasta to seafood specialties and, of course, delicious wood-fired pizzas. We tried the seafood spaghetti and a traditional Margherita pizza — both were absolutely fantastic. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors perfectly balanced, and the portions generous. The house wine paired beautifully with our meal, and the homemade tiramisu was the perfect sweet finish. Prices were fair, especially considering the central location and the quality of both food and service. Whether you're a tourist or a local, Da Roberto is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy genuine Italian cuisine in a relaxed and friendly setting.

A charming and clean restaurant. Services were quick and nice. I had Squid Ink Spaghetti, seafood fries & salad as a set meal, ended with a tasty tiramisu. All dishes were good.

We weren't sure if we wanted to try this place based on the reviews. After we did we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, more expensive that other meals we had, but the food was very flavorful. I had the squid ink pasta and my wife the lasagna. We shared a spinach dish as a side. The place has a nice atmosphere too and was warm and welcoming in a cold December night.

10 out of 5 stars! This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food was beyond delicious—every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. Despite dining on New Year’s Eve, we never once felt rushed; the staff was attentive, warm, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and special. This is the kind of restaurant that stays with you long after the meal is over. I will absolutely be coming back the next time I’m in Venice. Highly recommended!
